CAMTC California Massage Therapy Council
CAMTC is a non-profit public benefit corporation mandated by California state legislation and created in 2009, providing voluntary certification that enables massage therapists to practice statewide. Their mission is: To protect the public by certifying qualified massage professionals in California. CAMTC certified professionals are recognized throughout California for having met the state's educational requirements and passed nationwide background checks.

Learn more about Somatic Experiencing and founder Dr. Peter A. Levine. Somatic Experiencing is a three year trauma treatment certification training course for health care professionals. Somatic Experiencing (SE™) is a potent psychobiological method for resolving trauma symptoms and relieving chronic stress. It is a multidisciplinary working with stress physiology, psychology, ethology, biology, neuroscience, indigenous healing practices, and medical biophysics, together with over 45 years of successful clinical application.

Steven has trained many hundreds of professionals worldwide. He is trained in mind-body traditions, clinical psychology, theology, aikido, has done research in Creativity and Myth, and has a long-standing practice of mindfulness meditation. Combining the best of these traditions in a unique approach, he has become known for his personal integration and embodiment of the principles he teaches. ​​

CODA Co-Dependents Anonymous 
Co-Dependents Anonymous of San Diego is a fellowship of men and women whose common purpose is to develop healthy relationships. The only requirement for membership is a desire for healthy and loving relationships. They rely on the Twelve Steps and Twelve Traditions for knowledge and wisdom.

AA Alcoholics Anonymous
Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is the agency within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services that leads public health efforts to advance the behavioral health of the nation. SAMHSA's mission is to reduce the impact of substance abuse and mental illness on America's communities.

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization. Mental illness affects everyone. Nearly 60 million Americans experience a mental health condition every year. Regardless of race, age, religion or economic status, mental illness impacts the lives of at least one in four adults and one in 10 children across the United States.
